Jack Drew
Jack Drew has worked as a programmer, a UNIX administrator, a technology manager, a professional hacker and, at his current job, he’s a project manager in charge of a team of nearly twenty people.
See a pattern? Not one of those jobs has been Olympic sprinter. This is why my author photo is taken from this angle a lot:

Like the hair?
In Spring 2003, I got my weight down to 174 (due to a change in what foods I consumed and jogging 45 minutes a day) and kept it there for a few months until a handful of people I cared about died on me and I gave up the diet and exercise routine and decided to give myself carte blanche for a few years. By Thanksgiving that year, I’d gotten right back to 210, which fascinatingly, is a weight my body seems to be most comfortable with.
Health goal for me? Get my weight back down, get running 45 minutes a day.
Why? I’ve got books to write, baby! And I’m ninety-nine percent certain that’s tougher to do posthumously.
