I've come to the conclusion that as long as you feel good, that's what matters. And your karate is probably keeping you in pretty good shape. I've been on the elliptical nearly every day, but I'm giving myself two days a week not to do it. But I'm still more active than I was before. Good luck with your goals!

Goodonya, G! I'm not a big fan of the elliptical trainers, but I did like getting on the treadmill at the hotels I've been to. I'm not quite tempted enough to buy my own yet, though.

As for Black Petals... wow. I haven't thought about that mag in a long time.

I am so jealous - I've gone back to the DVDs. The weather is too unpredictable and I don't have time to go to the track. So, until I get a treadmill I'm doing the videos. Keep up the good work!

Troy - thanks for the kudos.

Keep up the 90's! Slowly building is the way to go for sure. I just figure I can keep doubling and cutting back on walking to get where I want to be. This morning, I pushed myself harder than before and surprised myself (see the blog for it).

Mike - Don't sweat when you can't go. Just keep making it a priority and you'll get back out there.

And I know what you mean about the storm. I'm looking out my window and it's pissing outside which means it'll probably be that way in the morning.

6 minutes? That's great! You the man, Jack.

Troy -- I've found it up and down, too. One day feels better than a later one. Probably a number of things going on there.

My run schedule is all craptasticulated this week. I didn't run last night because I wanted to practice for tonight's review in karate class, and I didn't make up for it after class tonight because there's a storm raging outside. I'll have to shoot for tomorrow and maybe Thursday for second run because I won't be home this weekend. Otherwise this week becomes a write-off.

Good going, Jack!

I just finished week 2 of 90 second runs with 2 minute walks for a total of 20 minutes. Need to go check on week 3's requirements.

I ran last Tuesday, then not until Saturday, then today again.

Ran with my daughter who is 7 on Saturday and she kicked my ass.

I actually felt better between last Tuesday and Saturday then today.

Keep it up,
Troy
